Every custom winder is designed to meet the simple, sophisticated and most complex nonwovens and paper web handling applications. Our Mark III and Mark IV Surface Winding Systems, unparalleled because of their unique multi-drum design, operate with continuous winding capability. All of our surface winders feature Parkinson Technologies’ Positran® Transfer System, which allows the ability to continuously wind during automatic cut-over at full line speed.




		Parkinson Horizontal Surface Winders Our Automatic Horizontal Surface Winders are designed for high speed, in-line slitting and winding of a wide range of Nonwoven materials. 		DRS 2000® Dual Razor Slitter Parkinson’s new Dual Razor Slitter offers a low maintenance, cost-effective slitting solution. The DRS 2000® features, “tool-less” blade changes and offers uninterrupted slitting, which provides the capability to extend a spare razor blade into the web without affecting an active cut or altering its loca tion. The razor blades are mounted in sliding cartridges that are easily and safely removed from the unit for blade replacement while the alternate blade is in operation. An additional safety guard, mounted behind the web, can be custom designed for your specific web handling application, to prevent con tact with the cutting edges of the blades while extended through the web.
